Praying with Your Feet

This past weekend, I had the privilege of prayer walking the grounds of some local schools with area residents, ministry leaders, students, and even an alumnus of the schools!  While many simply consider the concept of prayer walking (walking while praying) or praying on site, just another way that one can pray, I can tell you that people participating left excited, enthused, and invigorated!  Yes, invigorated.  That's a word I seldom, if ever, see paired with the word, prayer.

Guide For Pardeeville Schools Prayer Walk

Pardeeville Area Schools will educate over 800 students during the 2011-12 school year. 332 pre-K through 4th grade, 467 students enrolled between grades 6-12, with 5th grade numbers not given.

During the summer, the school district hired 9 teachers and one administrative assistant; one of the larger hiring’s within the district in many years.

Pardeeville’s athletic teams have achieved successful seasons in recent years, with the Pardeeville High School baseball team competing for the state title, most recently.

Do you notice details? Maybe your mind is preoccupied with a project, a recent conversation, or maybe your attention is completely on the screen in front of you.

What one sees and notices makes up much of the experience they take away or remember from an event.

That is true when it comes to prayer walking as well.

When you prayer walk your neighborhood, here are some things to take notice of as you walk.
