Guide For Pardeeville Schools Prayer Walk

Wed, 10/05/2011 - 11:32am -- Rob

Pardeeville Area Schools will educate over 800 students during the 2011-12 school year. 332 pre-K through 4th grade, 467 students enrolled between grades 6-12, with 5th grade numbers not given.

During the summer, the school district hired 9 teachers and one administrative assistant; one of the larger hiring’s within the district in many years.

Pardeeville’s athletic teams have achieved successful seasons in recent years, with the Pardeeville High School baseball team competing for the state title, most recently.

These are good reports, and there are many more positive reports across the school district and community; but let’s remember that each of these blessings is of the Lord. This school district, within State and Federal laws, maintains openness to the gospel of Jesus Christ to a level that many other Wisconsin school districts no longer do. This is something we can and should be thankful for!

Today, we gather to exalt Jesus Christ in praise, prayer, and petition.
Praise Him for who He is and what He’s doing in our community. Pray for students, faculty, administrators (specifically those you know by name), others as they come to mind; and petition the Lord to deepen the work He’s doing in hearts and lives across our community.

But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” -Luke 18:16

Pray as the Spirit leads. Some prayer suggestions are provided on the reverse of this handout.

Thank you for investing time and prayer into these schools and this community!
